WHAT IS A MASJID ?

        There is a special place in almost every town where we can go to make Salat in big groups. This place is called the MASJID. The masjid is a big building where people can pray together in large groups.

       On Fridays a lot of muslims go to the Masjid because Allah ( SWT ) said we should get together on that day. Friday is called Y own ul  Jummah in Arabic. Have you ever been in a M asjid before ? can you tell everyone what it look like ? what day did you go there ? who didi you see ?
When we are in the masjid, we must be Quiet.

       Do you remember what muslim do in a Masjid ? yes.. We make SHOLAT...
When you go into the Masjid, you should remember that you LOVE ALLAH ( SWT ). Walk in your right foot first because it  remaind us about the Angel sitting on our right shoulder. What jobs does he have ? when you leave step out with the left foot to remind you that the world is full of bad deeds.

       Do you know how many times muslims pray each day ? muslim pray five times everyday. We also read Allah’s book. Do you remember its name ?
Many people like to read Qur’an in the Masjid because it is quiet in there. When you are done reading it.  Remmember to put it back on the shelf!

In the Masjid there is a special person called an Imam. THE IMAM IS IN CHARGE OF SHOLAT.
